Cookie Policy
Last updated 17 August 2026
In short
- Paratiq does not use advertising, visitor-analytics, or cross-site tracking cookies.
- Session and form-security cookies are needed for the service; “remember me” is used only when you choose it.
- Financial pages and documents you upload are not saved in the service-worker cache.
1. Scope
This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar browser-storage technologies used by the Paratiq website and application.
For more about personal data processed through these technologies, read the Privacy Policy and KVKK Notice. This policy is not a request for consent.
2. Cookies and browser storage
A cookie is a small text record that a website stores in your browser. It can recognise your session, protect form submissions, or remember a choice you made.
Local storage, Cache Storage, service workers, and web-push subscriptions are not technically cookies. We include them here because they also keep information on your device.
“First-party” means that the record is created by the Paratiq domain. Every cookie listed below is first-party.
4. Local storage and caching
| Technology | Information and purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
localStorage: sidebarCollapsed |
Remembers your collapsed-sidebar choice in your current browser. This value is not sent to the server or a third party. | Until you change the choice or clear browser data |
| Cache Storage | Stores compiled style, script, and font files, plus logos, icons, and public marketing images, so they load faster. | Compiled files for up to 30 days; public images for up to 7 days |
| Offline page | Stores a generic offline notice to display when no network connection is available. | Until the service-worker version changes or you clear browser data |
| Workbox expiration metadata | Keeps the URL and timestamp of cached public resources in browser IndexedDB so that the records can be removed when the periods above expire. | The same duration as the related cache record |
The service worker does not cache account-page HTML, balances, financial records, session tokens, profile images, or receipts and invoices you upload. That content is requested from the network and is not displayed while offline.
5. Web notifications
Web notifications are not cookies and are disabled by default. A subscription is created only after you use the notification option in the application and grant browser permission. Your browser generates a subscription endpoint and encryption keys, which Paratiq stores in connection with your account to deliver notifications to your device.
The subscription can remain until you unsubscribe in the application, revoke browser permission, the browser invalidates it, or your account is deleted. Delivery may involve the push service operated by your browser or device provider.
6. Third parties and analytics
In the current version of Paratiq:
- No advertising or retargeting cookies are used;
- No visitor-analytics or performance-measurement cookies are used;
- No third-party tracker builds a profile of your browsing across websites;
- Groq and Mailgun do not place cookies in your browser; the necessary communication with those services is made by the Paratiq server.
For that reason, the current version does not display a general advertising or analytics cookie-consent panel. “Remember me”, the sidebar preference, and web notifications are enabled only when you make the relevant choice. If we later add a cookie or similar technology that requires consent, it will remain off by default and a separate choice mechanism will be provided before it runs.
7. Managing your choices
- To avoid creating a “remember me” record, leave the option unchecked when signing in; sign out to invalidate an existing record.
- Disable web notifications from your profile and revoke permission in your browser or device settings.
- Change the sidebar preference with the menu control in the application.
- Delete cookies, site data, service workers, and caches through your browser settings.
If your browser blocks all cookies, some public pages may still work, but registration, sign-in, form security, and account features will not work correctly.
8. Changes and contact
This policy took effect on 17 August 2026. If the cookies, purposes, or retention periods change, we will update the table and the last-updated date before the new use begins.
