Terms of Service

1. Agreement and scope

These Terms of Service govern the service relationship between Paratiq and the person who creates a Paratiq account. By accepting these terms during registration, you agree to use Paratiq in accordance with them.

The Privacy Policy and KVKK Notice explain how personal data is processed; neither document is a bundled request for consent. You should also read the Privacy Policy and KVKK Notice.

If you cannot agree to these terms, do not create an account or use the service.

2. Your account and security

You must have the legal capacity required to enter into a contract under applicable law. If you are below the age of legal majority, you may use the service only with the permission and supervision of your legal representative.

• Your registration and profile information must be accurate, current, and belong to you.
• You may not create an account for another person without authority or use someone else's account.
• You must keep your password, two-factor codes, and recovery codes confidential.
• If you notice an unrecognised session or unauthorised use, secure your account and notify us.

Any mandatory legal rights you have in relation to unauthorised use that occurred through no fault of your own remain unaffected.

3. What the service does and does not do

Paratiq supports personal income and expense tracking through tools such as manual entries, recurring transactions, optional receipt or invoice reading, upcoming entries, notifications, summaries, and reports.

Paratiq:

• Does not connect to your bank account or automatically import activity from your bank;
• Does not hold or transfer money, pay bills, or send payment instructions to your bank;
• Is not a bank, payment institution, accounting service, or financial adviser;
• Does not provide tax, legal, accounting, credit, or investment advice.

Amounts, reports, reminders, and dates in the application depend on information you enter and calculations performed by the service. Do not treat them as the sole source of truth instead of a bank record, bill, contract, or official record.

If you enable business-day adjustment, Paratiq may move only the tracking date of a recurring entry that falls on a weekend or public holiday to the next business day. It does not change the bill's actual due date, your contractual obligation, or a payment instruction at your bank. Holiday data may be incomplete, delayed, or unsuitable for your location, so you should confirm the real date with the relevant organisation.

4. Your records and files

You keep ownership of the financial records, descriptions, and files you add to Paratiq. To provide the service, you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free permission to host, copy, technically transform, display, and process that content only as needed for the features you request. This permission ends when your account and content are deleted, except for material that must be retained by law.

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter, for having the right to upload each file, and for avoiding unnecessary personal data about other people. Do not upload identity documents, bank statements, health records, or sensitive personal data that the service does not need.

Paratiq is not a permanent archive or backup service. Keep a separate copy of records you need to retain. You can request a copy of the information associated with your account through the data-export tool in your profile.

5. Document reading and automated results

Automatic receipt and invoice reading is optional. When you start it, Groq processes the document to extract transaction fields. Automated results may be inaccurate, incomplete, or incorrectly categorised. Before saving a financial record, review and correct the amount, date, currency, transaction type, and other fields.

Masking is enabled by default, but it is optional and best-effort. It is not guaranteed to find every sensitive field. If masking cannot finish, the document is not sent unmasked. Read Document Reading and Privacy for the technical flow and data controls.

6. Acceptable use

When using Paratiq, you must not:

• Carry out unlawful, fraudulent, threatening, or rights-infringing activities;
• Upload malware, corrupted files, or content that could harm the service or another person;
• Attempt to access another user's account, data, or session;
• Bypass rate limits, usage quotas, security controls, or access restrictions;
• Send automated requests, crawl, or extract data at a volume that disrupts the service;
• Reverse engineer the service or attempt unauthorised source-code access, except where the law expressly permits it;
• Sell, rent, sublicense, or provide Paratiq or any part of the service on behalf of another person without permission.

7. Beta, plans, and service changes

Paratiq is in beta and is free during the beta period. The current registration flow does not request a payment card or collect payment. Some features may have daily, monthly, or plan-based usage limits; current limits are shown with the relevant feature.

If we offer a paid plan in the future, its price, taxes, renewal, cancellation, and any applicable withdrawal terms will be shown separately and clearly before purchase. We will not charge you or start a paid subscription without your express purchase approval.

During beta, we may add, change, or remove features and adjust usage limits. Where a change materially affects user data or the core service, we will provide advance notice where reasonably practicable and a suitable opportunity to export your data.

8. Intellectual property

Paratiq's software, interface, design, brand, logos, text, and other service elements belong to Paratiq or their respective rights holders, excluding user content and parts governed by their own open-source licences.

While you comply with these terms, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to use the service for your own use. This does not transfer any ownership in Paratiq or its software to you.

9. Suspension and account deletion

We may temporarily restrict access or close an account if there is a serious or repeated breach of these terms, a compromised account, a risk of harm to the service or others, or a legal obligation to do so. Unless an urgent security or legal issue prevents it, we will give reasonable notice of the reason and an opportunity to remedy it.

You can start account deletion from your profile. If you change your mind, you can cancel within 10 days; access may be restricted during that period according to the deletion stage. Once the period expires, account data is submitted for permanent deletion and the account cannot be restored. Export anything you want to keep before deletion completes.

Provisions that by their nature must continue after account closure, including intellectual-property, liability, legal-obligation, and dispute provisions, survive.

10. Warranties and liability

We aim to provide the service with reasonable care and security measures. Internet services may nevertheless be interrupted or contain errors, and temporary access issues may result from maintenance, technical failures, communications networks, hosting, or other service providers.

To the extent permitted by law, Paratiq is not responsible for losses resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information entered by a user, automated results used without review, treating an in-app date as an actual due date, or relying on the service as the sole basis for financial, tax, legal, or investment decisions.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for intent or gross negligence, rights relating to a defective service, or any other right that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law.

11. Changes, governing law, and contact

These terms took effect on 17 August 2026. If we make a material change, we will publish the updated text and date here. Depending on the change, we may also notify you in the application or by email and may ask you to accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live, including rights to apply to competent consumer arbitration committees, courts, or other authorities, remain unaffected.

If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. If the Turkish and English versions conflict, the Turkish version prevails to the extent permitted by law.
